The ruins are crumbling.
The forest is calling.
The mandrake roots are screaming.
Controls:
- WASD + Mouse - walk and look around
- 1 / 2 / 3 or Mouse Wheel - select No Weapon / Mandrake Roots / Eye Staff
- LMB - use current weapon
- RMB - cancel throwing Mandrake Root

Unbelief befalls me, I probably shouldn't have played this so early in the morning. Great fun, really enjoyed the visual style, I want to keep these little cute wriggly Mandrake babies forever. The eye staff looked great too.
I found the enemies quite relentless, but the amount of player health seemed quite generous. I got lost in the fog a few times, I probably would have liked a few more landmarks to guide me on my way but perhaps I just missed those that were there due to being chased by so many evil creatures.
A cool entry, I'd enjoy a full game in this style for sure.
Congratulations on beating the game, and of course thank you for playing! :) Balancing definitely is an issue, the whole thing came only together at the last two hours or so.
We do want to polish this jam version. But for a full game, maybe let's ask the cool friends...?

Thanks for playing and posting a video! I think you encountered a strange bug with some frozen enemies, but I guess it didn't really matter. Hopefully we'll have a fixed version soon (and also more visual hints in the first part of the level on where to go ;)!
